A blog about Guild Wars?!? On a Guild Wars Official Fansite?? Surely not. I must be going mad.  Yes, right, first blog about GW. Where to start? Well, i sure as hell missed playing it for over a  month as i revised for my exams. But now that i'm back on it, i'm thoroughly addicted all over again!

So Krell, what wonderfully amazing adventures have you been on recently, i hear you all cry. Ok, maybe you couldn't care less, but i'll tell you anyway!

I'm on a vanquishing spree at the moment, as i want the titles! I've vanquished and guardianised all of Istan in Elona, which was fairly easy, actually. The only hard part (ish) was Mehtani Keys, and the frakking Mandragors that pop up at the worst time. Each time a group of them popped up when i wasn't expecting it, i had at least 1 death. But i slew them all, and vanquished the area, so it's all fine! I'll be moving onto Kourna now, and attempt to vanquish and guardianise that. I think i'll stick with Elona for now, and thoroughly complete that, before moving onto Cantha or Tyria. But we'll see how it goes!

Apart from vanquishing, i've been playing a load of Alliance Battles as well. And i have a new favourite character  The Fever Strike assassin duo. Lee and i play this build to perfection, and it's great fun. Some memorable moments in AB include the time when a lonely paragon was blocking our path to the necro shrine, so Lee and i both attack, drop him in 3 seconds, and then the paragon promptly leaves the game. Another funny moment was when us 2 were heading towards the ranger shrine, so an enemy monk moves in close to the rangers to heal them, which was a very bad idea on his part! Due to the nature of our builds, any condition we inflict upon our target gets inflicted upon everyone else in the area (due to Fevered Dreams). So we attacked the ranger, and the monk received all the conditions as well, including daze. We then prompty sliced the monk into tiny pieces, as he couldn't do anything because he was dazed. It was too perfect! This build can drop the 2 monks at the res orb shrine in Etnaran Keys really quickly as well, due to daze. Other funny moments are when either of us forget to cancel our Shadow Walk stance, and suddenly get teleported half way back across the map. Very annoying, but also highly amusing. So yeah, a great duo build, and verily fun to play.

In other news... the sun is shining again! Woohoo!

Recommendation for the day: Guild Wars, hehe. Ok, apart from GW: the film Little Miss Sunshine. A quality comedy, with some very memorable bits in. Well worth seeing.

Re: Guild Wars

Yes I have seen the two of you playing that Duo build with amazing results! Nice to see you back in GW and it's nice to have a free moment to read your blog again.
